Exclusively available to guests only. Overlooking First Point
Malibu and the Pacific Ocean, the Roof Deck Bar and Restaurant at the Surfrider is the spot to
soak it up.
Positioned at the intersection of farmland and sea, our menus are Coastal-Californian with a focus on locally sourced, sustainable and organic produce. We’ve scaled it back and taken an in-context approach, designing a menu with Malibu in mind.
At The Surfrider, we believe that the drinks are just as important a part of the day as the food. This is the case for the coffee in the morning to the Apres Surf smoothie or house-made tonics, all the way through to the last night cap (try the chamomile and Manuka honey infused Hot Toddy by the fire!). Our beverage offerings are a true taste of California; an edit of small scale natural and organic vineyards and distilleries, Ayurvedic tea houses and local coffee roasteries. Our mixologists are passionate and proud of our local produce and how it can be infused in all of our beverage program.
To satisfy all the senses, the music (sometimes live) consists of worldly tracks curated by in-house and internationally acclaimed music-surfers. The view, well… that’s a surprise.
Designed to feel like the deck of your own Malibu beach house, long lunches and bare feet are the standard!
Reservations required for groups of 6 or more. We serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and all things in between, on the roof deck or in your room. The roof deck is also fully accessible for disabled guests via elevator lift.
